Christians believe that the bible is the word of God and is God breathed, that holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the holy spirit (2 Peter 1:21). This is the contention of many non believers that the bible is not the word of God and is written by men. This belief hinders non believers and some so called Christians from believing that God created heaven and earth by His word and He created them in six days(Genesis ch 1 and 2 , Hebrews 11:3). God doesn't need 6 days, he could have created it in a second. Unbelievers are ready to believe the big bang theory that everything came after a big bang. They never stop to ask the question how or why the big bang happened? Science says, "something cannot come from nothing".
Christians believe that man and woman were created by God and placed in the Garden of Eden, they were deceived by satan to eat the fruit in the garden when God told them not to eat it. This disobedience brought sin into the earth and death also came as the punishment for sin. Later on God instituted a temporary solution for humans' sin, that is sacrificing an unblemished animal as a blood sacrifice. God then sent His son to die for all humans' sin - past, present and future. Christians believe Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life and was crucified on the cross, died and rose from the dead on the third day, went to heaven and is sitting on the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. When people realize their sinful state, confess their sins to God and accept Jesus as their saviour, they are born again and they are new creatures, no longer slaves to sin but slaves to righteousness. Christians also beleive in Trinity .One GOD in three persons, Father, Son(JESUS), and the Holy Spirit.
Christians proclaim this good news to everyone and all over the world, they never force it on any one. Infact christians were always persecuted or killed for doing this since the days of Jesus's disciples. Even today christians are being persecuted for their belief and even if they are not spreading the gospel, their mere presence in some countries evoke anger, resentment and persecution.
